Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026. Last updated: October 11, 2026
1. Who we are
This website, jackborkowski.com, is operated by Jack Borkowski ("we", "us", "our"). We provide mental training and coaching services to individual clients. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and the tools we use to schedule and manage conversations, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to visitors to this website and to people who book a conversation with us.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us when you book a conversation. Scheduling is handled by Calendly. When you book a conversation through Calendly, we collect your name, email address, phone number, any optional message you provide, and your responses to booking questions about your situation and whether the service may be a fit. Some booking questions are required to schedule a conversation. We need your phone number because the conversation takes place by phone and we call you.
Information you give us by email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically. This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare records technical information about requests to the site, including IP address, browser type, referring page and time of access, for security and reliability purposes.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and performance. The service provides aggregate measurements such as page views, page paths, referring hosts, country, device type, browser, operating system, and website-performance metrics.
Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data and does not track individuals across Cloudflare customers' Internet properties.
Meta Pixel (advertising measurement)
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To see whether those ads lead to booked conversations, we use the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.
The Meta Pixel does not load until you allow it. When you first visit this website you are asked to choose between Allow advertising and Reject. Until you choose Allow advertising, no Meta code runs, no request is made to Meta, and no advertising cookie is set. If you choose Reject, nothing advertising-related loads at all.
If you allow it, the Meta Pixel records two things only:
-
Home page
A standard PageView event when you open https://jackborkowski.com/.
-
Booking confirmation page
A standard Lead event when you reach the page shown after you book a conversation.
The Meta Pixel is not present on this Privacy Policy page or on our "page not found" page, in any state.
What we do not send to Meta. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, the answers you give when booking, or any detail of your appointment. We do not place any of that information in page addresses. We do not use the Conversions API, Advanced Matching, retargeting audiences, customer-list audiences, or custom conversions. Scheduling through Calendly is configured so that appointment details are not passed into the page address after booking.
If you allow advertising, Meta may set cookies on your device, typically named
_fbp and _fbc. Meta processes this data under its own
privacy policy and terms.
We do not collect payment information through this website. The site does not process payments and does not contain payment forms.
4. How we use your information
We use your information to schedule and hold the conversation you requested; to call you at the number you provided; to respond to your questions; to keep a record of our contact with you in our customer relationship system; to keep the website working and secure; and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers we use to run this business, and only so they can perform their function for us:
-
Calendly
Scheduling. Receives your name, email, phone number, your optional message and the appointment time.
-
HubSpot
Customer relationship management. Receives booking information through the Calendly integration.
-
Google Calendar
Calendar availability. Receives appointment times so that booked time is not offered twice.
-
Cloudflare
Website hosting, security, and aggregate website-performance analytics. Receives technical request data, including IP address.
-
Meta Platforms
Advertising measurement, and only if you allow advertising. Receives the fact that a page view or a booking confirmation occurred, together with the technical data a browser sends with any request. Receives no name, email, phone number or booking answers.
Booking information may be processed by Calendly and may be added to HubSpot according to the active integration settings.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights, and in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
6. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails or text messages unless you ask us to. We do not record conversations without telling you and obtaining your agreement first. We do not publish, quote or share anything you tell us in a conversation.
7. The nature of this service
Coaching is not therapy, medical care, or crisis support.
8. Your choices
Advertising cookies
You choose whether this website may use advertising cookies. The choice is presented the first time you visit, with two options of equal prominence: Allow advertising and Reject. Nothing advertising-related loads before you choose.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Use the Privacy Choices link in the footer of every page on this website. When you withdraw consent, we delete the Meta advertising cookies from your browser and reload the page so that no further requests are made to Meta.
Your choice is stored in a single first-party cookie named
jb_consent, which lasts up to 182 days. That cookie exists only
to remember what you chose. It is not used for advertising or analytics.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of advertising tracking. In that case the Meta Pixel does not load, the banner is not shown, and advertising cookies cannot be turned on while the signal is active. Global Privacy Control is available in some browsers and through browser extensions.
Access, correction and deletion
Depending on applicable law, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you.
To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request". We may need to confirm your identity before acting, which we will do using the contact details we already hold.
9. Children
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, manage a booking or business relationship, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
11. How we protect information
We use reputable service providers and rely on their security measures, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Information from outside the United States
Our services are directed to people in the United States, and information is stored and processed there. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
13. Changes to This Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the revised notice on this page and update the effective date and "Last updated" date.
14. Browser Privacy Signals
Global Privacy Control. We honor it. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising tracking is refused automatically, as described in section 8.
Do Not Track. This website does not change its information practices in response to the older browser Do Not Track signal, which no longer has an agreed meaning. Use Global Privacy Control, or the Privacy Choices link in the footer, instead.
We use the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement, and only after you allow it, as described in sections 3 and 8. We do not use Google Analytics or any other behavioral advertising technology on this website. Cloudflare Web Analytics is described above and sets no cookies.
